What should i buy a 3ds or vita
You probably already know the answer. At least know that, when it comes to phones and tablets, there are ways to add controllers. They're a bit awkward, and don't work with all games. On Android, you need to pair via Bluetooth. And finding the games that work with these controllers can be a challenge.
You don't get the same type of games that you do on dedicated game handhelds, but the gap is narrowing fast: Apple's App Store and Google Play are flooded with games. Some are terrible, many are incredible, and a good number of them are ports of console games. The best news about mobile gaming is this: you could buy a game on Google Play or the App Store and have it run on many phones and tablets.
I carry my extensive game library in the cloud, and no matter what I upgrade to I can have something to play on it. Whether or not you consider Angry Birds, Threes, Ridiculous Fishing or Candy Crush to be excellent games, the most talked-about and viral games of this generation are played on mobile devices.
And they're also very easy to connect with others and play multiplayer games on. It's not the same as a console or a handheld A 7- or 8-inch tablet feels great to hold, and comes close to the feel of a larger-screened gaming handheld.
Both the Nexus 7 and iPad Mini are perfect little gaming tablets, and fun alternatives to using a phone. Be respectful, keep it civil and stay on topic.

People are climbing over themselves and spending large sums of money to get the more rare figures, making Amiibo collection a sort of meta-game. Having the Amiibo also compatible with 3DS makes buying more of them a little more reasonable, as you can now use them with two consoles.
The Nintendo 3DS is the best handheld on the market right out--mobile phones be damned--and offers experiences deep enough and numerous enough to justify a treat-yourself New Year's purchase.

I think it's pretty pointless saying that someone should buy this or that. One should rather provide people with facts that would help differentiate between the two and make the decision themselves based on that, even if somebody asks you straight which one to get. I'll be getting the Vita for my part.
Probably the 3DS down the line. It all depends on how much cash I can save. Vita for me. But I might get a 3DS also, now with the price drop and all I haven't played Ocarina either, but its actually pretty good. I've been seeing you around a lot lately. You make Interesting comments. It all depends on what you want and what your tastes are. Personally a lot of the 3ds games look comparable to psp games in terms of both graphics and controls to me, so they are going to have to pull out some really unique titles to convince me to get one.
And sorry, I've played all the remakes. First of all graphics are irrelevant to making a good game. The controls are far better than the psp just based on how comfortable the analog stick is and the fact that you have 2 screens and a touch screen.
Its funny you dont mention gameplay because thats the only thing that matters. And gameplay is on a game by game basis. Ive played some nes games with better gameplay than some ps3 games. First off, graphics are not irrelevant, but they are less important than most other factors. The graphics can go a long way to adding a better feel to a game and making it more epic. More powerful systems can have more things happening on screen to produce jaw-dropping effects.
If god of war came out on the ds it would not be near as impressive as it was on the psp. Also, i said "comparable" not the same. Have you played street fighter, splinter cell, resident evil, or any sports or racing games on the 3ds? I'm not saying the touch screen doesn't compliment these games, because it does, but its not that big of a jump from certain similar psp titles.
All I'm saying is, I am not going to buy a 3ds for street fighter when I could get the first Tekken that was released on psp for 5 bucks. And having a slightly more comfortable analog stick does not make the controls "far better.
The use of the word "fanboy" has really gotten out of hand. I'm not talking about unlocking stuff by playing the same game on both, either. Let me use it as an Aliens style motion sensor, or to receive Codec messages I'd play games on it also, but most of the games I like to play are best played on my big screen with surround sound.
If you're only going to be playing while on the go, better to skip the 3DS as it's not really suited for mobile gaming. Really, though, neither is "worth" getting yet. Check back in when they've both managed to accumulate decent libraries.
The 3ds had a small list of launch titles and the vita has a list that is already beating it. Look it up if you don't believe me and please, improve your grammar.
Ps vita has, Uncharted: golden abyss, Resistance: burning skies gravity rush, assassin's creed, Modnation racers, Street fighter x tekken, escape plan, little deviants, an untitled bioshock game, untitled call of duty, an untitled killzone game, wipeout , little big planet, Fifa 12, Rayman Origins, and more.
I didn't know the PSV launched already. It hasn't? And these games aren't out yet either. This list reminds me of what I thought the 3DS would launch with. It's not out until next year. Many may not launch with the system. And some might not be any good anyway. Both systems have a huge list of upcoming games, and while many are not to thrilled by what's on the 3DS now, very few can assert with complete honesty that the 3DS's upcoming games list is lacking compared to a competitor that has yet to be released.
While gamers are gushing about newer hardware today, the 3DS quietly remains one of the best values in gaming. Whether you wait for a deal or not, the 3DS is simply worth it. When it comes to the Nintendo 3DS, and the standard DS for that matter, games play best on these consoles because they were designed with the dual screen in mind. When these games get released on other consoles, there is often something that gets lost in translation.
And many gamers would argue that these games actually look and play best on the newer hardware. And these gems look and play great on the 3DS as well. Newer hardware has since replaced the 3DS in the portable space, but the console still remains a perfect, compact gaming companion. Between the absolutely massive gaming library and small form factor of even the largest 3DS models, the handheld console packs quite the punch and leaves a small footprint.
