Where is zoom flume water park

Reopening Protocols. Halloween Haunt. Halloween Haunt comes screaming back Friday and Saturday nights Sept. Zoom Flume. Rider Safety Information.

You can put the tube around your waist, ride lying down holding on from underneath, put your knees on it and rock it, use your arms and hips to spin it around, make chains, bump others who are willing. The only thing not allowed that I've seen aside from anything obviously dangerous or annoying is putting your feet on the "creek" bottom.

I give the Zoom Flume owners a lot of credit for giving its visitors credit to create their own kind of fun while keeping it safe. If there is not a long wait and there usually is not , you are allowed to go around the circular loop over and over without exiting.

It's a zip line that lets you travel from one side of the park to the other at great height and speed so not for the faint of heart! You get instruction and safety equipment - - then you can either scream or enjoy the pretty view. I've seen several people casually take a selfie while hurtling through the air, so if you like to do that get it ready but hold it tight because it would not survive the fall!

One day one of these places will corner the market AND get a great name for themselves by realizing they can get more people in and get more money and cause more fun by allowing discounts for very large families who otherwise would not come at all. No drinking fountains or drinkable tap water, both which you'll crave so you'd better bring your own until they care enough to install some.

You can of course buy bottled water or other beverages. For some reason which I can't fathom, they took away the shade umbrellas from all of the tables near the concession stand and almost always reserve the other shady spots where you're allowed to eat for groups, so you're forced to eat in the sun whether you want to or not.

There are no showers, and the sinks are the type where you have to hold them while you wash, so good luck getting that sunscreen off your hands without a partner to help. At the concession, the hot dogs are not good and the Chicken Caesar wraps, which used to be the best thing on the menu, now have much more batter than chicken and only the tiniest hint of dressing.

They do give more dressing if you ask, and the lettuce is very fresh. Unlike at another water park somewhat in the area, this water park has no medium- or fast- speed slide for all ages where you can ride in an open slide in a sitting position. What's good about the park: The sights, sounds, and smells are all amazing.

You see lots of trees, boulders with water flowing over them, a bridge spanning a leafy, watery gap decorated with flags and with a view of most of the park, clean water flowing through sky-blue-painted pools and chutes, the already mentioned whimsical dancing men, totem pole, and wild west town, and a whole bunch of people with smiles on their faces.

The music playing all over is at just the right volume and is very upbeat, adding to the fun feel of the place, and of course you hear water flowing everywhere and people laughing and talking and having a good time. The air is unpolluted and fresh and smells vaguely of water and sun tan lotion. Note that some people are inconsiderate and reserve lounge chairs by putting things on them and then rarely use them.

If it's a crowded day and you don't come early, you might not find a spot. The ones near the big totem pole pool are made of bamboo [or something like that] and have a lot more character than the others. Wish they would find manufacturers who make sweatshirts shaped for women and with skinnier wrists. I can't remember if you get a similar discount at the concession stand. It also has a restaurant and bar that I believe Zoom Flume users are allowed to use.

The price for your stay includes tickets to the water park. Alternatively, if you buy a season pass for the cost of two visits - - less than that and with free "buddy passes" if you buy before January you can feel free to drop in for just two or three hours when you have time. Another great time at Zoom Flume.

Just went to Zoom Flume again on Mon June 27,, and as always had a great time with the kids. It was not crowded. Very clean park in beautiful surroundings. The food stands are reasonably priced. They play nice music throughout the complex. I'm looking to go again in August. Desiree R 7 contributions. Nice clean family park, however if you weigh more than pounds this may not be the park for you.

This park has a nice wave pool and cool water rides. However you are weighed before being allowed to get on the rides. In closing the park can use more rides. Rides where all people can enjoy not just rides for people under pounds. Zoom Flume management must understand families come to amusement parks for fun and relaxation not to be weighed and fat shamed.

My husband felt humiliated to be weighed then told he was not allowed to get on their rides! Something to do, but not military friendly. I'm an army wife and have used my military card for discounts across this great country.

But at the Zume Flume, it doesn't count. You have to be the service member. I honestly have never run into this before. I asked to speak to the manager and got a run around. He was on an endless phone call and couldn't get away. As for the park itself, it's absolutely fine. Incredibly expensive but something to do. At least I checked water park off the list for the summer. Careful, very slippery! I broke my foot there! First of all, let me begin by stating positive things - it's a great little water park with fun slides and all my family including my husband and our two kids ages 2 and 7 had a great time there I understand that it is probably my fault, I am definitely not going to sue the water park for my injury, but I really wanted to let everybody know that these things can happen and you need to be very careful.

It was incredibly slippery there, so please walk slowly and take care not to fall! Our party included an 18 month old, a 4yr old, and a 13yr old, plus us 2 in our 40's. We all had a great time, we were able to find plenty to do to keep all 3 children satisfied. Not a huge place, but fun just the same for a day out. I liked the fact that we were able to find shade from time to time, because it was 96 degrees out when we went.

We were worried it would be extremely packed on a Saturday, but were pleasantly surprised that there was still room to move. The favorite for all 3 boys was The Wild Water West area. They loved the spray guns and the dynamite blasters that sprayed water across to the people on the other side--like a shoot-out with water.

Beware the new Tidal Wave Pool for whatever reason seemed to be a brighter area with absolutely no shade--we were not there long but the two of us that stayed just 10 minutes longer than the rest got horrible sunburns. There was enough bigger rides for my 13 yr old and enough smaller or family rides for my 4yr old to enjoy. Not a bad day out, and the hot dogs, burgers, fries, and fried dough were all good enough for my fussy eaters.

We are also focused on evening entertainment that means we host plenty of evening activities to occupy guests with exciting fun, there you can spend quality and giggling moments with your folks. Book directly with us and grab exciting offers. Are you searching for Where to visit with the loved ones, or are you searching for Nature Lovers places?
