I don't think there's a true consensus about the Super Saiyan 4 design. Re: why does the ssj4 design gets so much hate by dbz fans? I, for one, always thought it looked really nice, it's very original and brings out the Saiyajin in their appearance a lot more than any of the other SSJ forms do.

Plus, it has a tail and I love the look of adult Goku with a tail. I actually never seen overwhelming hate for Ssj4.
