Darksiders where to find tiamat

How to get across that lava with those blue things above it? It is to the left of the Twilight Cathedral enterance. They could have at least gave us health this bitch is hard to beat without gaining some health cause she takes your life bar away like nothing. That gryphon is badass…how did heaven have a problem with the war if their fucking gryphons can tango with creatures 3 times their size? I thought most walkthroughs were done by someone who knows what they are doing.

He finally got an aerial slam attack, its original though, spin in the air and not get sick but still kill someone. I got stuck at that part when you get the new sword. How the fuck are you suppose to know that your not gonna keep that sword and give it to some statue at the end of the castle. I watched various videos including this video.. I never could hit it even once.. So i got frustrated and deleted the game..

Went to play something else. So you have to dodge the scraping talon attack right before it hits you? I flailed my way through it but got it done.

Thanks for the help. Update: I gave this boss fight another try and ended up beating her. This vid helped a lot, thanks to the uploader. Like the Cloudburst tank in Batman. Made by passive-aggressive wussies who had NO other way to get even with the world who gave them wedgies and stuffed them in lockers.

Middle finger. You can throw the crossblade all day if the timing is not perfect it does not matter. This boss is the worst design ever in a boss fight. Nice gameplay though. Tried this and failed. Many many times. So I deleted the game. No sense playing something thats just a pain in the ass. Takes away from the fun value. This game is pretty tough. I clocked it but the puzzles in 2nd half along with bosses were a challenge.

I always derp out with the blade and end up throwing a bomb on her, a bomb on a pillar, and then targeting a flame and both bombs, effectively bombing us both.

The other phase is simple. Just blade from afar, dodge fireballs, and when she goes on all fours, rush in, hit her 6 to 8 times but not more! Rinse and repeat until dead. Just got this for the PS4 a few days ago. Never played it on the PS3. Awesome game till I got to this boss! Thanks for the tip!

Tiamat made me quit the game.. I never played anything like Darksiders, and it blew me away! I might give it another go now finally.. You can cut down the length significantly by upgrading the Chaoseater sword so your attacks are stronger.

For the first half, Tiamat will circle the platform in the air, firing fiery projectiles at you. You should always be locked on to her, making dashing to avoid the fireballs much easier. Immediately pick up an Inert Bomb from the platform and, while targeting Tiamat, toss it. Try to get near the monster before throwing the bomb so your toss is more accurate. A well-tossed bomb should land right on Tiamat's ugly face.

With the bomb stuck, you now just need to ignite it. To do this you'll need to use your Crossblade and the torches scattered about the arena. This sounds easier than it is. Tiamat constantly fire shots at you, so you'll need to dodge until a torch and Tiamat are aligned in roughly the same area.

Dodge a fireball if need be, then pass the aiming reticule over the bomb on Tiamat's face. Tiamat will plummet to the surface of the arena, stunned. Approach her and slash away at her face. Dash away when she stirs.

Float up the geyser ahead of you to reach the upper area then enter the door to the south. You are back in the previous room but on the upper level. Use the grips to cross the wall.

As you run along the grips, push a stone from its ledge. Drop then drag the stone to the east wall then jump on it to reach the grips. Run south to reach the central hall as the northern entrance is blocked by a Goremaw. Pick up a bomb located in this area; throw the bomb at the Goremaw in the center of the room.

It will fall through the floor opening a path into the basement. Drop down into the basement and defeat the enemies. Run through the hallway until you meet a cube chained to the floor. Attack the cube with you sword to obtain a new weapon: the Crossblade. Destroy the Lavashrikes that rise out of the lava.

A Rot Mauler now appears and attacks you. Charge up the Crossblade by holding down the attack button then release to stun the monster. While he is stunned attack him with regular attacks. Once the Rot Mauler is defeated, a blue crystal appears above the exit which you much target with your Crossblade.

Move through the door once it is open. Hit the switch located before the lava pool. The statue won't move properly because it is blocked by crystals on its sides. Hit the bombs located on each cluster of crystals with your Crossblade then hit the switch again to raise the statue out of the lava. Hit the crystal held in the hand of the statue with the Crossblade then go through the door that opens to the west. Hit the bombs located on the column in the middle of the room to open a path across the lava then glide down.

Here you learn how to carry fire from a torch in order to reach targets that are otherwise out of range. You need this to detonate the bombs on the column in the room next door which is your next task. After the column is brought down follow it into the next room. Go down to the lower platform to find three statues. Glide up a nearby geyser and run through the door at the top. Slide down the rope, taken out the bombs with the Crossblade as you go. When you reach the end of the rope, drop down and pull the lever here.

This raises up 9 platforms in the lava pool. Jump to the southwest corner and hit the switch with your Crossblade. Head to the southeast corner and hit the switch there. Turn around and jump on the rising platform before it rises too high. Hit the third switch from here. This raises the middle column. Jump onto the middle column and throw the bombs that are located here at the nearby patches of red crystals. Hit the first switch to raise up the column in front of you, allowing you to climb up to it.

Hit the final switch then jump across to the exit. Turn back and use the platforms to reach the northwest corner where a cluster of red crystals sat before you blew them up.

Jump into the previously blocked area then jump to the rope, climbing along it to the north. Drop down at the end of the rope. Pick up the Crystal Blade; then find two more crystal switches behind you.

Hit them with one Crossblade blade and the door will open.
